Chris Carthy, Ph.D.

Chris has over 15 years of prior healthcare industry experience as a scientist, business development executive, and investment banker. He has been involved in numerous debt and equity financings and strategic transactions in the life science sector, including biopharmaceutical, diagnostic, laboratory tools, services, healthcare IT, and medical device companies. He is a former bench scientist and author of 25 scientific publications. He began his biotechnology career at QLT as a research scientist and then joined Affinium Pharmaceuticals as a business development executive. He also worked as an investment banker prior to founding Armentum Partners. Chris received his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and his Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University.
